Nursery funding and eligibility
We offer government-funded childcare during school term time (38 weeks). Monday to Friday (8am to 6.15pm).
We provide nursery childcare from 2-4 year olds. Full time. part-time and flexible days.
You may be able to “stretch” your hours across more weeks – please ask our nursery team.
How many hours can I get? Working parents – children aged 9 months to 4 years.
From 1 September 2025, eligible working parents can get 30 hours a week from the term after your child turns 9 months, until they start school.
We provide nursery childcare from 2-4 year olds.
You can apply for a place with us at any time.
You must apply for a code and reconfirm every 3 months.
2-year-olds – families getting extra support
Some 2-year-olds can get 15 hours a week if your family receives certain benefits or your child meets specific criteria (for example: has an EHCP, receives DLA, is looked after, or has left care). You do not need to be working for this offer.
3 and 4-year-olds – all families
All families get 15 hours a week (“universal” hours) from the term after your child turns 3.
Many working families can get 30 hours a week with a code.
Additional hours
We offer additional nursery childcare hours for 2-year-olds at £30 for a 3 hour block and for 3-4 year-olds at £25 for a 3 hour block.
When to apply or reconfirm
You need a valid code before the deadline for each term and must reconfirm every 3 months.
We offer nursery places and the chance to join us through out the year.
